Facebook is dangerous for asthmatics

Facebook, the most famous social network on the Internet, could cause asthma attacks by the most vulnerable people, according to a study of group of doctors. This is a test case of 18-year-old asthmatic boy, a member of Facebook, by which the asthma attacks that are present in the winter, began to occur in summer.

The boy was, after the breakup with his girlfriend, deleted from her list of Facebook friends. After that he opened a new Facebook account and then became a friend of his, now, ex-girlfriend. He followed then her "Facebook" page and her activity with friends, and then, the boy began to get asthma attacks.

The doctors then performed, thanks to a special mask, the respiratory flow measurement in the body of young boy, which showed that it tapers at each connection to the Facebook.
Doctors recommended him then not to connect on Facebook anymore and from that moment asthma attacks stopped. This means that, as scientists say these attacks where probably instigated by stress that is related to Facebook activities.

Doctors have concluded that Facebook, and social networks in general, could be a new source of psychological stress and worsen the condition of asthmatics. They noted that for some users, relationships made on Facebook sometimes have the same impact as the one from real life and cause the same amount of stress for vulnerable people.
